Hi, I am Simon Kessler, founder of Simon Says Cycling, a former 6-year professional cyclist, 15-time national champion and a coach for over 20 years working with world tour pros, Ironman champions, and local cyclists of all abilities.

I learned at a young age the big difference between my mediocre performance and my breakthrough championship wins was the mind. These experiences began my own journey to develop a mental training toolbox that I have developed and used with my clients over the years. 

The problem with the typical mental training out there is that it’s too generic and does not work for competitive cyclists. 

Cycling is a sport offering many unique challenges and racing experiences. Most mental training is not specific enough and does not provide you with tools and strategies that cyclists need on how to push through the intense pain we experience as cyclists, how to move past a disappointing performance quickly, or how to overcome the fear of crashing.
